New pill joins fight against tough bile duct cancers

NCT ID NCT02151084

Summary

This study is testing if adding a new pill called selumetinib to standard chemotherapy helps people with advanced bile duct or gallbladder cancer more than chemotherapy alone. It will compare two different schedules of the drug combination. The main goal is to see if the new combinations shrink tumors better or keep the cancer from growing for longer.
