NCT ID NCT03620266
Summary
This study is testing whether daily supplements of dried bilberry and processed oat bran can help control heart disease and diabetes. It involves 900 adults who have type 2 diabetes or have had a heart attack. Researchers will check if these food-based supplements can lower 'bad' cholesterol, reduce body-wide inflammation, and help people exercise better over three months.
