Summary
This study tested whether a community bike safety class could help kids ride more safely. Researchers recruited 195 kids aged 9-12 and attached small GPS and video cameras to their bikes to track their riding habits. They compared kids who took the class, kids whose parents also got training, and kids who got no training to see which group had fewer near-misses and better safety behaviors.
