This study looked at whether learning to ride a real bicycle improves planning, memory, and self-control in 62 children aged 8-10 with autism. Children did four 45-minute cycling sessions per week for two weeks. Researchers compared real bike riding to stationary cycling to see which helped brain function more. No medicine was given, and the study was completed in December 2024.
