Summary
This study collected and stored blood and tissue samples from over 2,100 people with digestive peritoneal carcinomatosis, a type of cancer that spreads in the abdomen. The goal was to create a large, high-quality biobank for future research into better ways to predict, diagnose, and treat this disease. Participants donated samples at different stages of their care, and their health information was tracked over time.
