Summary
This study tested a community bike safety program for 195 kids ages 9 to 12. Some kids took a 12-hour safety class, some took the class plus a parent training session, and others got no training. The researchers used GPS and video cameras on the kids' bikes to see if the training helped them ride more safely and avoid crashes.
