Office surgery could replace OR for biceps tendon pain
NCT ID NCT05370183
First seen Dec 10, 2025 · Last updated May 12, 2026 · Updated 24 times
Summary
This study tests if a biceps tendon cutting procedure done in the doctor's office with a tiny camera and local numbing is as good as the same surgery in an operating room. About 14 adults with shoulder pain from biceps tendon problems will take part. The main goal is to see if pain relief is similar between the two approaches, which could make treatment faster and more convenient.
