This was a first-in-human study to check the safety and see how the body processes a new drug called BI 706321. It involved 73 healthy male volunteers who received either the drug or a placebo. The main goals were to see if the drug was safe at different doses and to measure how much of it got into the bloodstream when taken as a pill or capsule, with or without food.
