Scientists test new drug injection methods in healthy volunteers
NCT ID NCT03617835
Summary
This early-stage study aimed to understand how the body absorbs an experimental drug called BI 655130 when it is injected under the skin in different ways and locations. It involved 48 healthy adult volunteers to compare injections in the belly button area versus the thigh, and single versus double injections. The main goal was to measure drug levels in the blood to find the best way to give the injection.
