First seen May 07, 2026 ยท Last updated May 07, 2026

Summary

This study looked at whether taking multiple doses of an experimental drug called BI 425809 changes the way the body processes a common birth control pill (Microgynon) in healthy women. Nineteen healthy premenopausal women took the birth control pill with and without BI 425809, and researchers measured drug levels in their blood. The goal was to see if there is a drug interaction that could affect how well the birth control works.
