First human test of experimental cancer drug halted
NCT ID NCT05381909
Summary
This early-stage study aimed to find a safe dose of a new drug called BGB-24714 for people with advanced solid tumors that have spread or cannot be removed by surgery. Researchers tested the drug by itself and combined with chemotherapy or radiation to see how well patients tolerated it and if it showed any signs of fighting the cancer. The study was terminated and involved 157 participants who had already tried standard treatments.
