Summary
This study aimed to find the best way to estimate a child's height when they are too sick in the intensive care unit to be measured standing up straight. Researchers tested several different estimation methods on 477 children against the standard World Health Organization measurement taken later. The goal was to find a reliable method so doctors can accurately calculate medicine doses, nutrition needs, and other critical care metrics.
