Frozen vs. needle: new test aims to catch hidden TB
NCT ID NCT07459569
Summary
This study aims to find out if a newer biopsy method using a freezing probe is better at diagnosing tuberculosis in chest lymph nodes than the standard needle method. Researchers will test both methods on the same lymph node in 108 adults suspected of having TB. The goal is to see which method provides more accurate results and is equally safe for patients.
