First seen Jun 11, 2026 · Last updated Jun 11, 2026

Summary

This study tests a program called BETTER that uses a coaching session and regular text messages to help pregnant women connect with resources for housing, food, and transportation. The goal is to see if this support reduces maternal anemia and other complications like preterm birth. About 550 pregnant women will take part, and their health outcomes will be compared to those receiving standard care.
