New scan could reveal hidden tumors in devastating hormone disease

Summary
This study is testing a new imaging method to find tiny pituitary tumors that cause Cushing's disease when standard MRI scans cannot see them. Researchers will give participants a drug called DDAVP, followed by a special PET scan, to see if it makes the tumor light up. The goal is to provide surgeons with a better map of the tumor's location before they operate to remove it.
