Blood tests could replace risky biopsies for transplant patients

NCT ID NCT04855422

Summary

This study is testing two new blood tests to see if they can safely and accurately detect organ rejection in people who have received a combined kidney and pancreas transplant. The goal is to find better ways to spot rejection early without needing invasive biopsies. Researchers will monitor 42 transplant recipients to see how well these tests work compared to current methods.
