New scan aims to solve prostate cancer detection puzzle
NCT ID NCT07220720
Summary
This study is testing whether adding a new type of PET-CT scan (called POSLUMA) can help doctors more accurately spot serious prostate cancer in men whose initial MRI results are unclear. It involves 30 men who have never had a prostate biopsy before and have these uncertain MRI findings. The goal is to see if this combined approach is better than relying on MRI alone to decide who needs a biopsy.
