Simple pee test could revolutionize pneumonia diagnosis for kids
NCT ID NCT07181200
Summary
This study aims to see if a new, non-invasive urine test can accurately diagnose pneumonia caused by specific types of bacteria in young children in Malawi. Researchers will test 350 existing urine samples from children, comparing the new test results to standard methods. The goal is to create a better tool for diagnosis and tracking vaccine impact in areas where pneumonia is a major health threat.
