Scientists hunt for clues to prevent unnecessary pancreas surgery
NCT ID NCT06694792
Summary
This study aims to find better ways to tell which pancreatic cysts are harmless and which might turn into cancer. Researchers will analyze samples from 800 people with these cysts, looking for patterns in their genes, environment, and body chemistry. The goal is to create a new test to help doctors decide who truly needs surgery and who can be safely monitored.
