Scientists test drug combo to keep kids Pain-Free longer after surgery
NCT ID NCT07289620
Summary
This study aims to find the best way to manage pain for children after foot or ankle surgery. Researchers are testing three different drug combinations added to a standard nerve-blocking injection to see which one provides the longest-lasting pain relief and reduces the need for extra pain medicine. The study involves 120 children, aged 3 to 12, and neither the families nor the doctors will know which treatment a child receives.
