New oxygen device aims to make lung cancer tests safer and faster

NCT ID NCT05203328

Summary

This study is testing whether using a special high-flow oxygen device during a lung cancer diagnostic procedure leads to fewer breathing problems and shorter procedure times. Researchers will compare the special device to standard oxygen delivery in about 200 adults undergoing a bronchoscopy test. The goal is to make the procedure safer, more comfortable, and more efficient by reducing interruptions when patients' oxygen levels drop.
