Scientists aim for clearer picture of calf muscles in stroke recovery

NCT ID NCT07387328

Summary

This study aims to test new guidelines for placing sensors on the calf muscles of people who have had a stroke. Researchers will compare their new placement method to an older standard, using ultrasound to see which one positions the sensors more accurately over the muscle. The goal is to improve the quality of muscle activity measurements taken during walking and other movements, which could lead to better rehabilitation analysis in the future.
