New blood test aims for more accurate clotting disorder detection
NCT ID NCT07313475
Summary
This study aims to find out if a new laboratory test called Cryocheck HexLA is better at detecting lupus anticoagulant than the test currently used. Lupus anticoagulant is a substance in the blood that can increase the risk of dangerous blood clots. Researchers will compare the results of both tests on blood samples from 200 adult patients to see which one is more accurate and less affected by blood-thinning medications.
