First seen Jan 02, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 18 times

Summary

This study aims to see if a new blood test, Cryocheck HexLA, is better at detecting lupus anticoagulant (LA) than the current test. Lupus anticoagulant is a substance that can cause blood clots. Researchers will compare the two tests using blood samples from 200 adults. The goal is to find a test that is more accurate and less affected by other medications.
