Summary
This study aims to find the best combination of blood and joint fluid tests to diagnose infections in artificial hips and knees more quickly and accurately. It will involve 270 people who need surgery to fix or replace their artificial joint. The goal is to help doctors choose the right treatment faster, which could reduce the need for repeat surgeries and lower healthcare costs.
