First seen Jan 05, 2026 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 19 times

Summary

This study tests whether 6 months of supervised strength exercises can improve hip-related quality of life more than standard care in people with femoroacetabular impingement syndrome (FAIS). 120 adults aged 18-50 with hip pain will be randomly assigned to either a guided exercise program or usual care. The goal is to see if exercise is both clinically effective and cost-effective for managing this condition.
