AI-Powered heart scans aim to solve deadly diagnosis dilemma
NCT ID NCT07436299
First seen Mar 21, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 9 times
Summary
This study aims to improve how doctors measure heart pressure in patients who have both heart failure and atrial fibrillation. Current ultrasound methods are unreliable for these patients, making it hard to diagnose and treat them properly. Researchers will test new ultrasound techniques combined with artificial intelligence to get more accurate readings. The goal is to better predict who is at highest risk of hospitalization or death, leading to more personalized and effective care.
