New ultrasound technique aims to spot digestive cancers earlier
NCT ID NCT07407296
Summary
This study is testing whether a specialized ultrasound procedure done during an endoscopy can more accurately determine if a thickening in the upper digestive tract (esophagus, stomach, or duodenum) is cancerous or benign. It will involve 43 adults whose CT or MRI scans showed this thickening but the cause remains unclear. The goal is to improve early and accurate diagnosis to help guide the right treatment decisions.
