New eye test could make cornea transplants last longer

Summary
This study is testing a new, simple method for surgeons to check the health of donor corneas right before transplant surgery. The goal is to see if this check can better predict whether the transplant will be successful in the long run. Researchers will follow patients for a year to see if the new check correlates with how well the new cornea works and how long it lasts.
