New device aims to end painful, failed dental shots

NCT ID NCT06676098

Summary

This study is testing a new 3D-printed guide to help dentists give a common numbing shot for lower teeth more accurately. The goal is to make the shot more successful on the first try, reduce patient discomfort, and cause less tissue damage. Researchers will enroll 10 patients needing a root canal to see if the device is safe, effective, and acceptable to both patients and dentists.
