New scan could replace invasive test for Cushing's disease

NCT ID NCT07108244

Summary

This study aims to see if a new type of brain scan (called [18F]FET PET-MRI) can be as good as, or better than, the current invasive standard test at finding the exact source of Cushing's disease. It will involve 43 adults with confirmed Cushing's disease who need the invasive test. The goal is to find a more precise and less invasive way to locate the tiny tumors causing the condition.
