Summary

This study is testing a special belt that creates a live image of the lungs to help doctors set breathing machines more precisely during surgery. It focuses on obese patients having a specific type of abdominal surgery where positioning makes breathing harder. The goal is to see if this new method is better than the standard machine settings at supporting the lungs and preventing breathing problems.
