New blood pressure machine could replace old clinic method
NCT ID NCT03454178
Summary
This study tested whether a newer, automatic blood pressure machine gives more accurate readings than the traditional clinic method. Researchers compared both methods against a 48-hour wearable monitor (the gold standard) in 149 Chinese adults with high blood pressure. The goal was to see if the automatic machine could better identify true high blood pressure and avoid misdiagnosis.
