Blood and urine test could help surgeons spot hidden bladder cancer

NCT ID NCT06396533

Summary

This study is testing whether a new combination of tests can better identify invasive bladder cancer before a patient has surgery to remove their bladder. Researchers will check if a special blood test and urine test, used alongside a standard scope exam, can accurately predict whether invasive cancer is present. The goal is to help doctors make more informed decisions before performing major surgery.
