One simple urine test could replace years of scans for adrenal tumors
NCT ID NCT02324647
Summary
This study aimed to find a better way to check adrenal tumors that are found by accident on scans. Researchers compared the standard method of repeated CT scans over several years to a single urine test. They wanted to see if the urine test was just as good at spotting cancer while being safer, less stressful for patients, and more cost-effective.
