First seen Apr 07, 2026 · Last updated Apr 24, 2026 · Updated 2 times

Summary

This study tested whether a steroid injection (betamethasone) or a painkiller injection (ketorolac) works better for DeQuervain's tenosynovitis, a painful thumb tendon condition. 62 adults received one of the two injections, and pain was measured using a standard scale. The goal was to see which treatment provides better pain relief.
