Summary
This study tests if betaine, a natural substance found in the body, can reduce liver damage in people with MASH (a type of fatty liver disease). Seventy adults will take either betaine pills or placebo for 24 weeks, then be monitored for another 24 weeks. The goal is to see if betaine improves liver health, measured by blood tests and MRI scans.
