Summary
This study tested whether taking a beta glucan supplement for 12 weeks could improve markers of biological age and immune system age in healthy adults over 40. Researchers measured changes in a panel of aging biomarkers in 60 participants who all took the supplement. The goal was to see if this dietary ingredient could help control or reduce age-related decline.
