NCT ID NCT04905277

Summary

This study is testing if atenolol, a widely used blood pressure medication, can help prevent bone loss in healthy women after menopause. It will involve 420 women aged 50-75 who will receive either atenolol or a placebo for two years. Researchers will measure changes in bone density at the hip and spine to see if the drug helps keep bones strong.
