Can a supplement give kickboxers a fighting edge?
NCT ID NCT07319052
Summary
This study tested whether taking a beta-alanine supplement for four weeks could improve performance in trained male kickboxers. Researchers compared the supplement to a placebo (inactive pill) to see if it helped athletes perform better in repeated high-intensity striking tests and strength exercises. The goal was to see if this legal supplement could be a practical way to boost power and endurance during kickboxing training and competition.
