NCT ID NCT03776799
First seen May 19, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This study tests two approaches for treating complex blockages in the leg's main artery. One group gets a drug-coated balloon to open the artery without leaving a permanent stent, while the other group gets a stent. The goal is to see which method keeps the artery open longer and improves walking ability. The trial involves 120 adults with moderate to severe leg pain from peripheral artery disease.
