Potato vs. bread: the Post-Workout Muscle-Building showdown

NCT ID NCT07367854

Summary

This study aims to understand which food combination best helps muscles recover and grow after exercise. Fifteen healthy, active young adults will do a leg workout and then eat one of three test meals: beef with a potato, beef with bread, or beef alone. Researchers will take small blood and muscle samples to measure how the body uses the food to build muscle proteins.
