Summary
This study aimed to find the most effective type of strength training for lowering blood pressure in people already taking medication for hypertension. Researchers compared three different 8-week exercise programs—dynamic, isometric, and a combination of both—in 60 middle-aged, sedentary adults. They measured 24-hour blood pressure and other health markers to see which method worked best.
