Doctors test drug to stop uncontrollable shaking during childbirth

Summary
This study aims to find the best dose of a medication called dexmedetomidine to stop shivering in women having planned C-sections. Researchers will enroll 40 women who experience moderate to severe shivering during their procedure. They will test different doses to find the one that stops shivering within 5 minutes for 90% of patients, while also monitoring effects on heart rate and sedation.
