Summary
This study aimed to find out if people from different ethnic backgrounds respond differently to common blood pressure medications. Researchers enrolled 940 White, Black, and South Asian adults with high blood pressure to test several standard drugs. The goal was to gather evidence to help doctors choose the most effective medication for each patient based on their background.
