Doctors seek best tool for Life-Saving breathing tube procedure
NCT ID NCT06232837
Summary
This study aimed to find out if using a slightly smaller curved blade helps doctors insert a breathing tube more successfully on the first try during surgery. Researchers observed over 3,000 adult patients in operating rooms across France to see which blade size led to fewer attempts and fewer complications. The goal was to gather real-world evidence to improve this common but critical medical procedure.
