Surgery tool trial aims to take the guesswork out of intubation

NCT ID NCT07370883

Summary

This study aims to find out which of two common video laryngoscope blade designs is better for successfully placing a breathing tube on the first try in adults having surgery. Researchers will compare the tools in over 500 patients and use the data to build a computer model. The goal is to help doctors predict which blade will work best for each patient's specific anatomy.
