NCT ID NCT04022239
First seen Jan 12, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 21 times
Summary
This study tests the safety and best dose of bendamustine, given with or without cyclophosphamide, to prevent graft-versus-host disease (GVHD) in 25 blood cancer patients receiving a stem cell transplant. GVHD occurs when donor cells attack the patient's body. The approach combines chemotherapy and radiation before transplant with immune-suppressing drugs after transplant to reduce this risk. The goal is to find a dose that controls GVHD without causing too many side effects.
