First seen Feb 11, 2026 · Last updated May 08, 2026 · Updated 17 times

Summary

This study tested a special stent (a small mesh tube) called LifeStream in 70 people with severe blockages in the iliac arteries, which supply blood to the legs. The goal was to see if the stent could keep the artery open and prevent serious problems for at least a year. Participants were followed for up to 5 years to check how well the stent worked and if any complications occurred.
