Coaching program aims to ease the mental burden of type 1 diabetes for young people
NCT ID NCT05413239
Summary
This study tested a one-year coaching program designed to help teens and young adults (ages 14-25) with type 1 diabetes. The program involved monthly sessions focused on reducing the stress of managing diabetes and improving blood sugar control. Researchers compared the coaching group to a control group to see if the program led to better time-in-range, lower A1c, and less diabetes-related distress.
